The desktop Python UI connects through the FileMaker Data API (or ODBC) using your host, database name and credentials. You enter these once in the Connection tab and test the link before going live.
The default cycle runs every 1 minute, which suits most outbox workflows. The interval is configurable in the UI settings if you need a faster or slower cadence.
Map a container field (for example an invoice PDF) in the Message tab. On each cycle the app extracts the file from the container and attaches it automatically to the outgoing email.
Credentials are stored locally on your machine in the app's encrypted configuration — never transmitted to us. Everything runs on your own infrastructure.
